Prof Dr. Sanda CRETOIU

Associate Professor in the Department of Morphological Sciences at „Carol Davila” University, specialising in Cellular and Molecular Medicine.

She became a Doctor Habilitatus in 2021, and she is accredited to supervise the research of doctoral students in the medical field. Sanda Cretoiu applies these skills in day-to-day medical practice by developing personalised diets and microbiota-based therapy for patients. She has an extensive background in publication, from starting, marketing, publishing and editing a scientific journal. She serves on several national and international scientific advisory boards, including ISMTE – International Society of Managing and Technical Editors Physicians, College of Doctors of the Municipality of Bucharest, Romanian Association of Nutrition and Dietetics, Romanian Society of Medical Genetics, SROOT, etc. She demonstrates deep knowledge across the disciplines of cell biology and histology, including teaching activities, laboratory experiences, project management, competitive research, student activities, and interactions, and maintains a consistent focus on the bottom line and capitalising on all viable research opportunities.
